Warren Rose
Warren Rose is a contributing artist of Main Street Arts. He is also a member of Martinez Arts Association and a life member of the International Freelance Photographers Organization (IFPO).
His photographs have appeared in Nikon World, Outdoor California, San Jose Mercury News, Contra Costa Times, Martinez News-Gazette, Martinez Tribune, The Bedford Gallery (Walnut Creek, CA) and The Martinez Gallery. While a member of the Fremont (CA) Photographic Society, Warren was designated a “Photographic Artist” by the Central Coast Counties Camera Club Council (6C). Self-taught, he improved his skills through attendance at workshops conducted by Tom Morse (Global Preservation Project) in Bodie, CA, Page, AZ, and Pt Reyes, CA. Master photographers Carol Leigh (Nevada City, CA), Julianne Howe, and Donna Martin (Fremont, CA) and author Carol Polich added greatly to his knowledge of equipment, attitude, and patience required to be successful as a nature photographer. Books by Steve McCurry and Raghubir Singh were influential in developing his interest in travel and street photography.
