Multi-media and oils artist, Ebbie has been producing artwork all of her life. She grew up surrounded by many of her namesake grandmother's rich oil paintings of her home, Stockholm, Sweden. She went on to study art as a specialty class in high school. In college she received a Masters in Science with a minor in fine arts with an emphasis on ceramics from the University of North Dakota. She has been a member of an artist association in every state she served in as a nurse and air force wife and often draws on those memories of beautiful places visited and called home throughout the years.
Ebbie has been a member of and won awards in San Antonio, Texas where she studied lost waxed casting and won Best in Show from the San Antonio Arts Association. While stationed in Virginia she ran a successful ceramics arts business out of her home and also continued doing lost wax castings. She won awards in watercolor while living in Grand Forks, ND. Her art still hangs in the public library there. She created the porcelain wall hangings for the women's studies building at the University of North Dakota, her Alma Mater. She has also won several honorable mentions in Colorado Springs and even placed there for her altered photography. As an active member of Arts Benicia she docented the Arts Benicia auction and assisted and submitted pieces since her move here in 2004. As she states, "Love of all artistic media is buried deep in my genetic code. Ebbie is currently still studying art and has reunited with her first love oils. Ebbie's artwork currently hangs in HQ gallery in Benicia, CA, Village 360 Gallery and the FVSAA Town Center Gallery at Solano Mall in Fairfield, CA.
