"My paintings reveal my emotions. Compassion arises from within me because of world problems that need to be dealt with and overcome. I’m moved to express what is happening and have a desire to create a painting.  The scenes tell stories in which the viewer can empathize, or they can relate to the painting and create their own story. Topics include women’s issues, homelessness, essential workers, the environment, and views of people surviving the mundane or the extreme."
